These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LongCat, the AI creation studio available at long-cat.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Independent Third-Party Service

LongCat is an AI image and video generation service — text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video — powered by the Meituan LongCat model family as its primary engine, with other selectable models also available. The Service is operated by an independent third-party team: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meituan or any Meituan-affiliated entity, and this website is not an official Meituan product. The name "LongCat" identifies the underlying models and this Service only, and does not imply any official affiliation with Meituan. If you are looking for official Meituan products or services, please visit the relevant official websites directly.

1. The Service

LongCat provides AI-powered image and video generation tools. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Credits, Subscriptions and Payments

• New accounts receive a free credit grant as described on the pricing page.
• Image and video generations consume credits at the published rates.
• Paid plans: subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. Credit packages are one-time purchases.
• Prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
• Refunds: subscription fees for the current period are generally non-refundable; contact support@long-cat.app for issues with billing or failed deliveries.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate, distribute, or otherwise produce any content that falls into the following prohibited categories:

• Violence and gore: gratuitous depictions of violence, blood, injury, weapons, or cruelty toward people or animals.
• Sexual or NSFW content: sexually explicit or pornographic material.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any depiction of a minor in a sexual context. We report suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities.
• Hate speech: content that promotes discrimination, hostility, or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Harassment and bullying: targeted content that demeans, threatens, or harasses a specific individual or group.
• Deepfakes / non-consensual impersonation: realistic depictions of identifiable real persons without their consent, including synthetic voice, likeness, or video.
• Intellectual property infringement: copyrighted works, trademarks, logos, or likenesses reproduced without authorization.
• Illegal activities: content that facilitates or depicts wrongdoing under applicable law (e.g. drugs, weapons, fraud).
• Misinformation: content that depicts real events or people in a way intended to deceive in a manner that may cause harm.

You also agree not to:

• Impersonate others or violate the privacy rights of third parties.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve competing models or services.
• Resell or repackage the Service without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice as appropriate.

5. Reporting and Content Moderation

Reporting prohibited content

If you believe content available through the Service violates these Terms, please report it to us at support@long-cat.app with a description and (where possible) a link, job id, or other reference to the content. Every report is reviewed by our team.

How we moderate

Our moderation combines automated checks (provider-level content filters and abuse signals) with human review for reports escalated by users or flagged by automated systems. We aim to acknowledge reports within a reasonable timeframe and take action as appropriate.

Possible actions

Depending on the severity and context, actions may include removing the offending content, suspending or terminating the associated account, and reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities where required by applicable law.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain rights to your prompts, uploaded materials and generated outputs to the extent permitted by law.
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
• Generated content may be subject to the terms of underlying models; you are responsible for how you use generated outputs.
• We do not claim ownership of your generated content, but the Service and its software remain our property.

7. AI Output Disclaimer

AI-generated results are experimental and may vary in quality, accuracy or appropriateness. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using generated content lawfully and appropriately.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LongCat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of credits, data or revenue.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
